Meet Our Founder & Principal

Dr. Joshua L. James is the Founder and Principal of Joshua James Enterprises. Serving as the Chief Experience Strategist he believes in producing moments that leave lasting impressions, guided by a disciplined attention  to detail and a consistent standard of excellence. Dr. James, alongside his team, have had the opportunity to collaborate internationally with many civic organizations, government agencies, faith-based institutions, and entertainment industry leaders.

Dr. James resides in Chicago, IL where he is the dog dad to Bruno & Bentley Bear. He is a graduate of the largest high school in Chicago, Lane Tech College Prep High School and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing Communications from Columbia College Chicago, a Master of Arts in Communication & Leadership Studies from Gonzaga University and an earned Doctorate of Education in Organizational Change & Leadership from The University of Southern California. He is a licensed and ordained minister at New Life Covenant Church Southeast and an active member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated. He is a board member of The Go Church in Chicago and an executive board member of Theta Mu Lambda Charitable Foundation. In that same spirit of service, Dr. James invests in the next generation of creative leaders, offering guidance shaped by experience, discipline and care.
